Westhampton Country Club

Set on one of the early Tillinghast courses of the Hamptons, this clubhouse was conceived as a series of classical pavilions open to the golf landscape. All major rooms open to decks and porches creating easy summer living between inside and out. Parts of the club recall traditional Shingle Style forms and details - fish scale shingles, peaked dormers, sweeping eaves - while the grille pavilion suggests the ballroom of the original clubhouse - a converted boathouse from the mid-1800's.
